Our Battery

Fire-y explosion

What if the time we spend at work added to our battery instead of depleted it? Our belief systems suggest that work consumes about eight hours of battery, right? You work during the day to accomplish any number of things and spend x-amount of energy in the process so, naturally, when you go home you feel depleted, with fewer green bars on your battery.

What if there were a different perception?

One where we find supportive energy at work causes the spreading of more supportive energy. Where encouragement causes the spreading of more encouragement. Where positive and genuine interaction between people causes the spreading of more positive and genuine interaction.

I’m not talking ‘Kumbaya.’ I’m talking about using communication more deliberately to create interaction in which we enjoy engaging and which sends us home at the end of the day more energized than spent.
