More Full More Often

Image of a full battery

Stop thinking and run silently like a submarine for a little while. You’ll better see your battery level. How full or empty? What if we could have more full more often?

When a nurse asks you to rank your pain: 1–10, you stop to notice. What if prior to and after big moments in your day, you notice your energy: 1–10. Is it rising or falling? Figure out what causes what. Then start causing it better.

Closer to full sounds like potential; closer to empty sounds like worry. How do ‘full’ employees participate in the work community? How about ‘empty’ employees? Let’s deliberately create full.
