Our thinking is as in-depleteable a source of confidence as we decide it to be. People who have confidence give it to themselves.
We don’t have to accomplish x, y or z in order to be confident. It works quite the opposite.
Because I’m confident, I pursue important things.
Because I’m confident, I make meaningful relationships.
Because I’m confident, I create great opportunities.
People who are confident are so because they know they are.
It’s not something someone gives them. It’s something they understand they already are. So the power is in the knowing.
Take a leap of faith and ‘know’ (take a chance believing) that thinking you’re confident is easy. When the wise one was asked: “How did you get to be so confident?” She answered “I never knew I wasn’t.”
