There are lots of ways to spread worth. Listen to people’s thoughts, consider their ideas, and empathize with their feelings. Open your eyes and just pay attention to them. See what and how they see. Paint goodness on them for others to notice. Shine a light on them by recognizing their accomplishments.
When you pay attention to what others pay attention to, you notice their intent. When you look at how they look, you see their mood. When you listen to their tone of voice, you hear their heart. When you watch how they stand you see what weighs on them.
If we don’t think of it as work, it becomes altruism. And watch your own battery go up at the same time. Watch your trajectory go someplace better too—your personal, relational, and professional trajectory.
