Do you attract people who suck the life out of your battery? They’re problem-oriented and needy and they need you to spend your energy to fix them.
Could they misinterpret your being a good listener as a license to drain you? Don’t stop being a good listener but rethink to whom you avail your ear. You don’t have to invite them to drain your battery.
If some of the problem is your attracting them, at least start turning off that magnet. Try to wean those emotions out of your life. Focus on managing and growing your own battery—your source.
