I would work to create new thought habits but, as my day would go on, I found myself reverting to my negative thoughts. I thought the negative ones for so long that I didn’t even notice that I’d reverted to old thinking. This part of the process take vigilance and tenacity.
Work on this repeatedly and deliberately until it becomes a new habit. Think expectationally, which is where you expect the new thought to become reality.
It must be more than just wishful thinking; you must expect the new pattern to take hold. If you doubt your ability to do this, it won’t happen so you must trust the process.
The process of creating confidence is easy in theory, but requires you to monitor your thinking all the time. Take a few deliberate steps until you have to think about it less and less. You may have to work at it but, with practice, you’ll find confidence is a well-earned habit.
